SOUTH BEND - Curtis Alan Simmons passed away at the IU Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana after a brief illness on June 19, 2011. He was born August 14, 1957 in South Bend, IN. He graduated from Riley High School.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, Jack E. and Annette M. Simmons and his brother, Terry Simmons.

He is survived by his sister, Jackie Simmons (Tom Schnellenberger); nephew Jason Schnellenberger, and nieces, Jenna and Claire Schnellenberger. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral mass to be celebrated July 27 at 5:30 p.m. in St. Matthews.
