Duane Wilson
Duane Wilson Oct. 7, 1954 - Oct. 5, 2014 OSCEOLA - Duane C. Wilson, 59, passed away at 11:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Duane was born on October 7, 1954 in South Bend to Ralph Charles and Berneice C. (Miller) Wilson and has been a lifelong resident of this area, graduating from Riley High School.
Duane worked for many years as a truck driver and was a licensed realtor agent. He was a lifelong member of the Saint Peter's United Church of Christ, South Bend and a member of St. Joseph Lodge #45 F. & AM, and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Charles Wilson on July 2, 1964, and by his brother, Darrell J. Wilson.
Duane is survived by his mother, Berneice C. Wilson of Osceola; sons, Douglas L. (Pat) Wilson of Traverse City, MI and Dennis W. (Joan) Wilson of Mishawaka, IN; and sister-in-law, Cathy Wilson of Bourbon, IN.
Funeral and Masonic Services for Duane will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Saint Peter's United Church of Christ, 915 N. Ironwood Dr., South Bend, IN 46615 with one hour of visitation prior to services at the church. Pastor Scott Bowie will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
