Curtis L. Crofoot

Oct. 27, 1930 - Oct. 3, 2016

LAKEVILLE - Dear Grandpa,

Today we rejoice in the life we shared with you. After 86 years of love, laughter, and hard work, you finally get to rest, and we get to reflect on the profound impact you have had on our lives.

We rejoice in your infectious laughter. We fondly remember the times we asked you how you had slept, and you responded, “with my eyes shut.” You taught us to find humor and happiness in everything.

We rejoice in your ambitious values and strength of mind. Your determination in your sole business endeavors created beautiful opportunities for your family. You taught us the meaning of hard work, and we are so proud to call you ours.

We rejoice in the hours we spent playing card games. You taught us that the time spent with family is the most valuable. We will fondly remember, and always miss, those nights spent with you.

Grandpa, while you are no longer with us, you will forever make us laugh and smile.
