Donald A. Pierce

Donald Adam Pierce, 60. of Kokomo, formerly of South Bend, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. after a year's illness. He was employed as a draftsman and mechanical engineer by Delco, a division of the General Motors Corp., Kokomo. He was born Feb. 13, 1913. in South Bend, and had lived in Kokomo for 15 years after leaving South Bend.

On Jan. 1, 1934. he married Elsie Fozo, who survives. Also surviving are his mother. Mrs. Myrtle Fries of South Bend; two sons, Donald of South Bend and Gary of Indianapolis; three grandchildren: three brothers, William of Edwardsburg, Clay of Mishawaka. and Richard of South Bend and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Havens of Edwardsburg and Mrs. Jay Myers of Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel where services will be at 1 p.m. Friday. Rev. Lloyd Louks, pastor of Southdowns Wesleyan Church. Kokomo. officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Ellers Funeral Home. Kokomo.
