Lois E. (Eidson) Kryder

MISHAWAKA — Lois E. Kryder, 79, of 2719 Birchwood Drive, died at 6:45 p.m. Friday in the home of her son on Gardenia Drive, South Bend, after an illness. Mrs. Kryder retired in 1977 from Whitcomb-Keller Mortgage Co. She was born May 23, 1915, in San Francisco, and lived here since 1920, coming from Wyoming.
On Feb. 18, 1938, in South Bend, as Lois E. Eidson, she married Isaac Edmund Kryder. He died Aug. 3, 1988. Surviving are three sons, Thomas P. of North Liberty and William F. and James S., both of South Bend; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Paul W. Eidson of Indianapolis.
She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Entombment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of St. Joseph County.
