Robert A. Knepp

Robert A. Knepp, 71, of 1605 Tam-0-Shanter, Niles, formerly of South Bend, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in his home, after a brief illness. He was an accountant for Clyde E. Williams and Associates. Born March 24, 1914, in South Bend, he was a lifetime area resident.

On Nov. 11, 1950, in South Bend, he married Emiine McCombs, who survives. Also surviving are two sisters, Ruth Hunt and Audrey Kucharski, both of South Bend; and two brothers, Raymond of Elwood Park, Ill., and Dale Knepp of Grand Ledge, Mich.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel at Highland Cemetery and burial will follow there. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Welshelmer North Chapel, 52803 U.S. 33 North. He was a member of South Bend Lodge 294 F&AM, and was an Army veteran of World War H.
