Evelyn Bernadine (Monroe) Chapin

Evelyn Chapin, 94, died Dec. 22, 2009. She was born in Chrisney, IN and lived in the Isles of Vero in Vero Beach since 2005, coming from Fort Myers, FL. Before retiring from the telephone company in 1973, she lived in South Bend, IN.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Dunson; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Burne Chapin.

A memorial service will be Dec. 29 in the chapel at the Isles of Vero. She was buried Dec. 27 at Fort Myers Memorial Garden.
