George R. Reith Sr.

George R. Reith Sr., 63, died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday in the South Bend Nursing Home after an extended illness. lie was born on Sept. 5, 1915, in South Bend where he was a lifetime resident.

Surviving are three daughters, Marilyn Rybicki of Augusta, Ga., Nancy Radics and Donna Hill, both of Mishawaka; a son, George Jr. of Niles; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson and a sister, Gertrude Tolle of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 336 N. Main, with Rev. Max B. Hayden, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
