SOUTH BEND - Anne F. Pearson, 91, passed away on July 9, 2011. She was born in South Bend, Indiana and graduated from James Whitcomb Riley High School. She relocated to Jacksonville in 1967 but never really left South Bend in her heart. She remained a Hoosier and a loyal fan of the Fighting Irish all her life. She was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Carl Nelson Pearson; her daughter, Susan Pearson Townsley; and a grandson, Cary Townsley. Survivors include her daughter, Pam Basney (Bill); sisters, Viola Troutman of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Joanne Jordan of South Bend, Indiana; brother, Charles E. Farkas (Luanne) of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Mark Townsley, Amy Ellis (Matt), Beth Seeker (Andy), and Tina Biggers (John); four great-grandchildren, Azland and Dakota Ellis, and Macey and Trey Seeker; and many loving nieces and nephews. She devoted her life to her family and her love and affection cannot be replaced. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in the chapel of Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice. HARDAGE-GIDDENS OAKLAWN CHAPEL, 4801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida is serving the family.
