Ralph R. Frick June 30, 1920 - Dec. 26, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Ralph Reuben Frick, age 94, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014. Ralph was born June 30, 1920 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Reuben A. and Mary (Taylor) Frick.

He graduated from Riley High School in 1938, and enlisted in the Army Air Corps where he served honorably from 1939-1945. During his time in the military, Ralph achieved the rank of Master Sergeant, and was a certified flight mechanic who worked mainly with the B-29 Bomber.

After his discharge from the service, he married Marion Hanson on March 25, 1951. She preceded him in death on March 4, 2000. They celebrated 49 years of marriage. In 2001, Ralph married Treva Potts in Florida. Surviving is his daughter, Susan (Ken) Jebelian of South Bend, 5 grandchildren, Christopher (Casey), Juliann, Jennifer, Danielle, and Ashley, and several great-grandchildren. Ralph is also survived by his wife,e Treva of Niles, Michigan and stepdaughters, Sandy Ferguson, Jan (Jerry) Palmetessa, and Darlene Bruckner, along with many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his son, Daniel R. Frick, and his siblings, John James Frick and Maxine LeFevere.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 2:30 pm funeral service on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola. Interment and military honors will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Ralph came home from the war and joined his father's business, Frick Electric and T.V., as a journeyman electrician. As the years progressed, he took ownership of the business, and retired in 1985. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local #153, a 50 year member of St. Joseph Masonic Lodge #45, and the South Bend Valley of the Scottish Rite. He also was a former member of the Ridgedale Presbyterian Church and Southlawn United Methodist Church. In his memory, donations may be given to the Salvation Army.
