BREMEN - Andrew Robb Jr., 92, of Bremen, IN, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 6, 2013, at Southfield Village Retirement Community in South Bend. He was born on November 3, 1920, in South Bend, IN, to Andrew and Rosa Robb Sr.

He graduated from Riley High School and Indiana University at Bloomington, where he met his future bride, Unalea Kolb. The couple met and established a friendship during their rides to and from their parents' homes in Northern Indiana.

He retired after nearly thirty years from Dodge Manufacturing in Mishawaka. He was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakeville. He valued his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. During his retirement he enjoyed singing at the Round Oak in Dowagiac, MI.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Unalea; children, Cindy (Phil) Eicher of Berne, IN, Andrew (Donna) Robb III of Bremen, IN, and Mary Beth (Alix) Bernard of Taylors, SC; grandchildren, Dr. Heather (Kirk) Eicher-Miller, John Eicher, Amy (Ted) Church and Adam Robb; and great-grandchildren, William, Anna and Leah Church, and Amelia and Stefan Eicher-Miller.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, son, Joseph Wilbur Robb, stepmother, Julia Robb, brother, Louis Robb, and half brother, John.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2013, in the Cathedral of Saint Matthew's, with Father Jacob Runyon officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to Mass in the Cathedral. Arrangements and cremation will be conducted by The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home.
