SOUTH BEND — Robert L. Rudig, 70, of 515 E. Monroe St., died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday in his home. Mr. Rudig retired as an antique furniture restorer. He was born March 28, 1921, in Huntington, Ind.

Surviving are two sisters, Jeanette Ramey of South Bend and Carolyn Smith of Tonowanda, N.Y.; a brother, James of Sacramento, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at a later date. His body has been donated to the Indiana State Anatomical Board. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., is in charge of arrangements.
