Longtime Lincoln resident, where she was active member of First Presbyterian Church. Graduated. University of Indiana, Sigma Kappa sorority. Following marriage to Keith L. Broman (10/27/44), she was active In Navy Wives Auxiliary. Moved to Kansas City area. December 1998, following death of husband.

Survivors: daughters, son-In-law, Rebecca A. Cross, Questa, N.M., Lisa and Scott Haines, Kansas City, Mo.; granddaughters, Kelly Sue Cross, Katryn G. Cross-Lois; sister, Pat Vail, New Jersey.

Memorial service: 3 p.m. Thursday, First Presbyterian Church, 17th and F streets. Lincoln. Inumment: Mount Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Diabetes Association. Mount Mo-nab & Freeman Funeral Home,
