EVELYN L. (HEAD) COLE

Evelyn Lucille Cole, age 88, a 10+ year resident of of Fort Mohave, Ariz., passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 in Bullhead City, Ariz.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 27, 1922, to Alice and John Walker Head. Evelyn grew up and lived with an aunt in South Bend, Indiana, where she graduated in 1940 from James Whitcomb Riley High School.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bullhead City.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Edward Head.

She is survived by three children, Bill Cole (Eve) of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., Darlene Wright (Kerry) of Fountain Valley, Calif. and Charlene Wahba (Alex) of Mission Viejo, Calif.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Charles Bernard of Fort Mohave.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Desert Lawn Chapel, 9250 S.Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley. The Reverend Pierce will officiate.
