My Lifetime Wish If I could have a lifetime wish A dream that would come true I'd pray to God with all my heart For yesterday and you A thousand words Can't bring you back I know I have tried And neither will a million tears I know because I've cried You left behind my broken heart And happy memories too But I never wanted memories I only wanted you To My Golden Boy I dreamed that I lie still and cold, No warmth in body or in soul. I felt no blood surging through my veins; I was not aware of cold or pains. Then I saw the look in your eyes, The smile upon your face, And from that time to this, I felt a miracle taking place. You kissed my lips and touched my hands. My heart felt like an ocean Roaring through the sands. And from that time, I was then alive, And for no greater happiness did I strive. Love always, Georgie
