Richard S. Eichorst

Richard S. “Rick” Eichorst, 63 years old, passed away at 9:44 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at The Milton Home, South Bend.  Rick was born on May 27, 1960 in South Bend to the late Herbert and Irma (Knebel) Eichorst.  He has remained a lifelong resident. Rick was a graduate of Riley High School and worked as a mechanic.

Rick is survived by two brothers, Bob (Kaye) Eichorst of Middlebury, IN and John Eichorst of South Bend; and a good friend, John Johnson of South Bend.  Along with his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Claybor, and brother, Tom Eichorst. 

A private burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Richard Eichorst may be donated to The Milton Home, 206 E.
