SOUTH BEND - Mr. Kevin M. "Brewser" Hogan, 47, beloved son, father, grandfather and brother who resided on East Miner Street, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Kevin was born July 30, 1960, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the union of Phillip R. and Lois (Hobson) Hogan. Coming from Fort Wayne in 1974 he moved to South Bend.

He graduated from Riley High School and then later graduated ITT Technical College in Fort Wayne.

He was a telecommunication specialist and the owner of Hogan Communications. He loved computers, reading, cooking and playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Shirley Hogan, and by a stepfather, Louis Boyd.

Survivors left to cherish his memory include his mother, Lois Boyd of South Bend; his father, Phillip R. Hogan of Fort Wayne; his son, Demetrius A. Page Sr.; grandchildren, Jenson, Brandon, Jessica, Demetrius Jr. and Nikki; one sister, Terri (Charles) Jamerson; a special cousin, Shelisa Paschall; a niece, Rayna (Rufus) Jacobs; a nephew, Rodney (Samantha) Terrell; a godsister, Diane Nichols, all of South Bend; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Kevin M. "Brewser" Hogan will be held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, in the River of Life Church, with burial following at Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to noon in the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary where bereavement messages may be sent to alfordsmortuary@comcast.net, c/o the Hogan family.
