Robert Sterzik, 81, passed away Monday evening at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend Born August 19, 1920, an South Bend to Russell and Ida (Weber) Sterzik, Robert was a life long resident of South Bend. On February 14. 1948, after returning from the Army, Robert married Monzel "Sally` Galloway who survives.
Robert was a manager for Kroger's for over 25 years retiring in 1985. Robert had also worked at Studebaker
Also surviving Robert is a son. John (Candy) Sterzik of Mishawaka; a sister, Doris of Fort Wayne; and three grandchildren, Timothy, Todd, and Jamie Sterzik, all of Mishawaka
Private services were held September 6, 2001 Memorial donations in Robert's name may be directed to the charity of your choice. Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
