Marguerite Krueger

Marguerite Krueger, 88, of South Bend, IN passed away at 12:00 AM Monday, June 2, 2008 in her home.
She was born on September 17, 1919 to the late Harvey and Lucy (Ellsworth) Krueger in Michigan City, Indiana, and has lived in South Bend for most of her life.
Marguerite graduated from Riley High School in 1937.
She worked at Studebaker Corp. for 26 years and at the South Bend Tribune for 25 years, retiring at the age of 70.
Marguerite is survived by her sister, Mary Jane Goodwin of South Bend, IN; one niece, June (David) Frost of Raleigh, NC; and two nephews, James L. Goodwin of Wakarusa, IN; and Michael D. (Debbie) Goodwin of Longmont, CO. She also has five great-nieces and nephews; and six great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed being with her friends and family.
A Celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
