Angela Renee Thibodeaux, affectionately known as Angie, was born on June 23, 1986, in Valparaiso, Indiana, and passed away on May 8, 2023, in St. Joseph, Michigan, after a sudden and unexpected illness. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, known for her spirited personality and unwavering support of those she loved. Angie will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

Angie was the cherished wife of Rob Thibodeaux, devoted mother to Kandace Reeves, and beloved daughter of Nancy Crawford and Michael (Shelley) Romine. She was also a dear sister to Amanda Romine, Adam (Renee) Romine, Lexie (Josh) VanLent, and Kylie (Garrett) Leewright, as well as a loving aunt to Rhyana Romine, Adriana Romine, Rynley Romine, Kamren Myers, and Kylie Myers. Angie's family extended beyond her blood relations, as she was also a treasured daughter-in-law to Robert and Carolyn Thibodeaux, sister-in-law Jami Myers and Ken Myers to and a loving pet parent to her dog, Skylar.

She was part of the 2005 graduating class from Riley High School. Most recently Angie was working at Jordan Automotive as a dedicated and valued member of the BDC team. She was known not only for her strong work ethic but also for her ability to connect with her colleagues and make the workplace a more enjoyable and supportive environment.

Angie had a passion for life and a wide array of interests that brought her immense joy. She loved spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the company of her family and friends. Angie was always the life of the party, making everyone feel welcome and included. She was the person you wanted on your side in a dance-off, and she could turn any frown upside down with her quick wit and kind heart.

In addition to her love for the beach, Angie enjoyed shopping and decorating, always finding ways to bring beauty and style into her surroundings. Christmas was her favorite holiday, a time when she could fully embrace her love for festive decorations and create a warm and magical atmosphere for her loved ones. Angie's strong sense of style and her eye for detail were just a few of the many qualities that made her so special to those who knew her.

Angie had a talent for giving great advice and encouraging others to follow their dreams. People were drawn to her warm and genuine spirit, and those who were lucky enough to know her will forever cherish the memories they shared.

Visitation to celebrate Angie’s life will take place Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 521 East Main Street, Niles, MI. Angie’s service will be Friday, May 19, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior at Brown Funeral Home.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Angie have been asked to consider Kandace’s scholarship fund.
