Genevieve (Cook) Ruetz

SOUTH BEND Services for Genevieve Cook Ruetz, 72, of Palo Alto, Calif., formerly of South Bend, who died April 23 in Palo Alto, were held May 4 at St. Ann Chapel, Palo Alto. McGann Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Lucilla Salter Packard Children's Hospital, Sanford University, Sanford, CA 94305.

Mrs. Ruetz was a former employee of Bendix Corp. She was born May 6, 1923, in Evansville, Ind.

On July 21, 1943, in South Bend, as Genevieve Cook, she married John A. Miller. He died July 15, 1944. 

On Nov. 27, 1948, in South Bend, she married Joseph A. Ruetz. He survives with a daughter, Susan; a son, Joseph; and one grandson.
