Graham H. McQueen

SOUTH BEND - Graham H. McQueen, 70, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in his home. Graham was born on February 5, 1946 in Belfast, Ireland to the late George and Ethel (Graham) McQueen. On February 22, 1986 in South Bend, IN he married Donna J. (Wade) McQueen, who survives. 

In addition to his wife, Graham is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Spainhower of South Bend, IN; his sons, Ian McQueen of Mishawaka, IN and Tim (Misty) Spainhower of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren Carter and Braden Spainhower, his brothers, Raymond (Konnie) McQueen of South Bend, Ian (Linda) McQueen of Cape Coral, FL, and Glenn (Cyndi) McQueen of Lakeville, IN; and sister, Sandy (Carson) Bowling of Mishawaka. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons, Roderick McQueen and Brendan McQueen.

Graham came to South Bend in 1961. He retired after 15 years from Transpo and served his country in the Army. He played soccer in Canada and was a speed skater while in high school. He was also a rock and roll singer in a local band, Rimfires. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Palmer Funeral Homes - Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
