Nancy L. Dunlap Hickey

SOUTH BEND, IN - Nancy L. Hickey, 82, lifelong South Bend resident, passed away at 2:57 pm Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Wellbrooke of South Bend. She was born August 12, 1936 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Harold and LaVonne “Bonnie” (Hine) Dunlap.

On June 8, 1956 in South Bend, Nancy married Robert L. Hickey, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Janiak of South Bend; son, Steve (Michele) Hickey of Hilton, NY; four grandchildren, Jessica Hickey, Whitney Hickey, Dylan (Jennifer) Hickey, and Renee Janiak; and one great-grandson, Jaxson Huff.

Nancy loved going to dog shows and horse shows in her early years. She treasured the many friendships she made at Fairington, adored her great-grandson, and enjoyed playing games with him.

The family may gather privately for services at a later date. Palmer Funeral Home - Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
