MISHAWAKA, IN - Carol Lea Weinberg, 81, formerly of Mishawaka, passed away on Friday, November 9, in her daughter's home in Logansport, IN. Carol was born on May 8, 1937 to Marvin W. and Virginia V. (Golichowski) Schrader. Carol graduated from Riley High School and then went on to study at Indiana University in Bloomington. She graduated from the American Airlines Stewardess School in Ft. Worth, TX. She was the Media Director of Ball Advertising in Evansville, IN prior to joining American Airlines. Although she loved flying, Carol left American Airlines to begin her family and spent 40+ years in Real Estate in the South Bend/Mishawaka area, retiring in 2008.

Carol is survived by her three loving daughters, Marva (Cabot) Carabott of North Hampton, NH, Vicki (Troy) Sparks of Logansport, IN, and Kelly Stratman of Arvada, CO. She was the proud grandmother of two, Samantha and Colton Stratman. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Sharon J. Picou, and her brother, Leonard Leffel.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, November 13 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. A service celebrating Carol's life will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday in the funeral chapel with Pastor James Justice officiating. Carol will be laid to rest with her family in the Sumption Prairie Cemetery in South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made in Carol's name to American Cancer Society.
