MARIETTA, GA - Ruth Borr Ehrenhalt, 83, passed away on November 23, 2010, in Marietta, GA, after two years of failing health. She was the oldest child of Henry and Minnie Borr, who predeceased her, as well as her two brothers, Marvin Borr and Irwin Borr.

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Ehrenhalt; her sister, Phyllis Sharon Borr Weiss, her husband, Donald Weiss; three children: sons, Michael H. Fridovich and Anthony S. Fridovich, his wife Melodie; daughter, Patricia Houk, and step-sons, Evan Ehrenhalt, Louis Ehrenhalt, and his wife, Carol. She had 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and their children.

Born April 2, 1927, in South Bend, Ruth went to James Monroe Elementary and graduated from J.W. Riley High School.

Ruth had many accomplishments in her life. Just to name a few: she was one of the first women in this country to have her own talk show on a radio station in St. Joseph, Michigan, in the early 1960s; advertising director for a department store; ran a modeling agency; a dancing instructor; had a clothing sales territory; worked in commodity sales in Atlanta; and was part-owner in Balok Printing in both Atlanta and Clarkesville, GA. Ruth was an active participant in several business organizations. She was an active member of her synagogue and in her community. Ruth helped organize anything and everything, while being a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. Ruth was a remarkable woman who never met a stranger. She is sorely missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Dressler's Jewish Funeral Care.
