Marguriete E. (Zentz) Taylor

Marguriete E. Taylor, 95 years old, passed away at 11:20 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at the home of her daughter in Bloomington, IN.  Mrs. Taylor was born on October 22, 1927 in Bremen, IN to the late Harold and Reta (Gould) Zentz.  She was a lifelong resident of Lakeville, IN.  On February 1, 1948 in South Bend, Marguriete and Robert A. Taylor were united in marriage.  Bob preceded her in death on December 5, 2017 after 69 years of marriage.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Dwaine Conard) Oglesby of Bloomington, IN; five grandchildren, Todd (Susan) Taylor, Kim (Chris) Nettrouer, Jason (Heather) Reynolds, David (Shana) Taylor and Casey (Tracy) Reynolds; and nine great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Lois Zentz of Three Rivers, MI.  Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her two sons, Mark on November 4, 1977, and Michael on February 25, 2019.  Her sister, Alice J. Hawkins, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Taylor was a faithful member of Faith Christian Chapel in Lakeville, IN.  She and her husband loved to travel and visited all 50 states.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Faith Christian Chapel, 20876 Pierce Road, Lakeville, IN.  Pastor Dave Herbster will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville, is assisting the family.
