Jeanne E. Canoy

KALAMAZOO, MI - Jeanne E. Canoy of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018, at the age of 70. Jeanne was born in St Louis, MO, on December 24, 1947, the first child and daughter of the late James and Jane (Eberwein) Canoy Vosters. She was a 1966 graduate of Riley High School in South Bend, IN.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Cyril M. Vosters. She is survived by her loving friend, Anita Bell of Kalamazoo; brother, Phil Canoy of South Bend, IN; sister, Barbara (Bill) Beven of Osceola, IN; and step-siblings, Mike, Dan (Jan), Ken (Genia), Steve (Anne), Bob and Linda Vosters all of Kalamazoo. Jeanne is also survived by her niece, Paige Beven of Osceola, IN; nephew, John (Jeralee) Beven of Wauwatosa, WI; nephew Edward (Jessica) Beven of Osceola, IN; grandniece, Emma of Osceola, IN; and grandnephew, Wyatt of Osceola, IN.

Langeland Family Funeral Homes of Kalamazoo handled arrangements for Jeanne's cremation. In Jeanne's memory, donations may be made to the Kalamazoo Humane Society, 4239 S. Westnedge Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49008.

Jeanne suffered with numerous medical issues most of her life and met the majority of them with all the strength, faith, humor, and fight she possessed. We will miss you, Jeanne.
