SOUTH BEND - Kathryn “Kathy” E. Gasko, 68, of Van Nuys, CA passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2016.

Kathy was born on July 14, 1948, in South Bend, IN to Edward S. and Elizabeth K. [Vaszary] Gasko.

She graduated from Riley High School in 1966.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward, and a nephew, Andrew Varga, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Surviving is her daughter, Katie Orsini of Los Angeles, CA; and her mother, Elizabeth Flood of Bremen, IN. Also, her sisters, Rosemary [Richard] Siatkowski of Granger, IN, Barbara [Lewis] Whitehead of Bremen, IN, Linda [Debbie Rowe] Gasko of Mishawaka, IN, Joyce “Joy” Crawford of Bremen, IN and Judith “Judy” [Steve] Toombs of Sylmar, CA. Also, surviving is her ex-husband, John Orsini of California and two aunts, Rose Prigge of North Carolina and Maryanne Casavant of Florida; along with several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date for the immediate family.
