Larry Howell

June 29, 1955 - March 22, 2018

SOUTH BEND - Larry Wayne Howell, 62, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. Larry was born on June 29, 1955 in South Bend, to the late Larry and Nila (Sisk) Howell. He is survived by his wife, Candence (Oakley) Howell; son, Landon Howell; daughters, Cassidy and Anna Howell; sister, Vicky (Jon) Howell Stickley-Freeman; brother, Steven Howell; and sister-in-law, Sandra Oakley. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Callie Demar Howell.

Larry was a life-long resident of South Bend, a graduate of Riley High School, served in the United States Air Force, and worked 35 years at Mittler Supply Company (Praxair). Larry's favorite times were spent on the golf course, in a fishing boat with his son, at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fair with his children, or at home with family for Notre Dame Saturdays. Larry will be greatly missed by family, friends, and Benny, the family dog.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. with a service following immediately after, at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615.
