SOUTH BEND - Rochelle Glass, 38, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away sweetly in her sleep on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Rochelle was born to Mamie (Davis) and Tommie C. Glass on October 7, 1972, in South Bend, Indiana.
Rochelle graduated from Riley High School.
Rochelle was affectionately known as "Pookie" to her loving family and friends. Rochelle enjoyed spending time with family, playing bingo, playing cards and going to the casino. Her friendship, love and affectionate smile will remain in the hearts of her loved ones always.
Rochelle leaves to cherish her memory two loving children, son, Khalid Swanson; and daughter, Komia Swanson; a loving mother; Mamie Glass; one sister, Mary (Robert) McElroy; two brothers, Charles Glass and Michael Glass; maternal grandmother, Annie Mae Davis; paternal grandmother, Mae Glass; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends; Florence Hunt, Tish Price and Rea. Rochelle was preceded in death by a loving father, Tommie C. Glass; maternal grandfather, Walter Davis; and paternal grandfather, James Glass.
Services for Rochelle Glass will be held on Monday, January 3, 2011. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. with funeral services following at 12 Noon at Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, 2702 Lincoln Way West. www.clarkoneal.com has been entrusted with arrangements.
