Sharon Lee (Fitterling) Huckins

SOUTH BEND - Sharon Lee (Fitterling) Huckins, 70, of North Redington Beach, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015, at her home under the care of Suncoast Hospice. Sherry was born in South Bend, IN, on August 15, 1944, to Maxine and Homer Fitterling.

She attended Warren Township School through eighth grade, graduated from Riley High School in 1962, from Indiana University, Bloomington, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business in 1966, and a Master's in Education in 1968.

Sherry was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her great sincerity and belief in others, coupled with her terrific sense of humor, made for innumerable happy times and many tease-able moments. Sherry cherished family and friends alike and was always thoughtful and considerate of everyone she met. We will deeply miss her ready smile and warm laughter, her kindness and affection, and her unconditional love.

Sherry is survived by her children, Jennifer and her husband, Spencer Cecil, and Jeffrey Huckins and his wife, Stacy; her grandchildren, Lea Cecil and Berk Huckins; by her sisters, Joan and her husband, Dwight Joshick, and Linda and her husband, Randy Mills; and by her many, many friends.
