George Gusich

George Gusich, 77, passed away at 6:44pm Monday, November 8, 2021 in Memorial Hospital from complications of multiple sclerosis.
George was born on March 24, 1944 in South Bend to Marko and Mary (Sabanovich) Gusich. He was a United States Army veteran, serving 11 months in 1968 in Viet Nam. George was a tool and die maker for AM General where he retired from after 30 years.
On June 25, 1977 he married the former Marie Vanett who survives along with two sons Richard (Emily) Boits and Jordan (Jana) Gusich, 4 grandchildren Jacob, Lucas, Andrew, and William, a sister Olga (Dale) Berta and nephew Mark (Chanda) Berta.
Cremation has taken place. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. So glad George was able to attend our Riley Reunion this past October! He was a former Riley homeroom buddy and a fellow Serb. My best to Marie and family and to your sister, Olga. Memory Eternal old friend! Rest in Peace!
