Richard Louis Geier Jan. 8, 1943 - March 27, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Richard Louis Geier, 71, residing in South Bend, passed away at 6:30 am Thursday, March 27, 2014, in Cardinal Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born January 8, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Gordon and Elsie (Hinckley) Geier. Richard worked as a computer programmer for Associates prior to retirement.
Surviving are his daughter, Kira Geier of Cleveland, OH; son, Tim (Becky) Geier of Woodridge, IL; grandson, Elijah; brother, David Geier of Seattle, WA; and nephew, Russell Geier.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Cardinal Nursing and Rehab Center, 1121 E. LaSalle Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617. Private interment will take place at Southlawn Cemetery. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
