Marilee Marjorie (Moe) Bolenbaugh

May 18, 1942 – June 1, 2021

Marilee M. Bolenbaugh, 79 years old, passed away at 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at her home, with her loving husband by her side.  Mrs. Bolenbaugh was born on May 18, 1942 in South Bend to the late Glenn and Marjorie (Wienke) Moe. She has remained a lifelong resident of South Bend. On September 4, 1965 in South Bend, Marilee and Daniel L. Bolenbaugh were united in marriage.

Along with Daniel, her husband of 55 years, Marilee is survived by their two children, Megan Bolenbaugh and Todd Bolenbaugh, both of South Bend. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Ava. One sister, Bette June Botos, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bolenbaugh was a longtime member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church. She loved to knit and belonged to the knitting club at Centre Township Library. She formerly worked in secretarial for John Hancock Insurance Company.

A private graveside service will be held at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marilee M.
