Kevin P. McCahill

SOUTH BEND - Kevin P. McCahill, 45, born March 9, 1970 of South Bend, IN passed away on Thursday. A life-long resident of South Bend, he was a 1988 graduate of Riley High School. Kevin was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, having served in 3rd Battalion, 2nd Division during Desert Storm.

Surviving are his children, Caitlyn and Logan McCahill of Polk City, FL; his mother, Sharon Norton of South Bend; his father, Michael McCahill of Indianapolis, IN; three sisters, Angela of Gainesville, FL; Colleen of South Bend, and Samantha Plute and her father, Roger Plute, both of South Bend. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A one-hour visitation will begin at 11AM on Wednesday, January 20, followed by a 12:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Immediately following will be graveside services and burial at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 US 31 South, South Bend, IN.

Contributions may be made, in Kevin's name, to the Veterans Homeless Shelter on South Michigan Street, in South Bend.
