Patricia Jody (Biscomb) Gallegos

SOUTH BEND - Patricia “Jody” Gallegos, 57, passed away on Thursday June 2, 2016 in Memorial Hospital in South Bend surrounded by her family. She was born on May 17, 1959 in Marion, Indiana to Patricia (Terrel) Fogarty and Richard Biscomb.

Jody is survived by her mother and stepfather, E.J. “Ned” Fogarty; her children, Becky Ryan, Nicole Gallegos, Jose Gallegos and Josh Holewczynski; five grandchildren, Austin Bassett, Kaleigh Byrd, Kinley Gallegos, Ava Condon and Nadaline Holewczynski; sisters, Debbie Marchbank, Ashley Dudgeon, and Beth Monez; brothers Blake Biscomb and David Fogarty; her ex-husband, Jose Gallegos and her dear friend, Mary Burnett.

Jody grew up in South Bend, graduating from Riley High School. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Her children and grandchildren were her world. She loved reading, crocheting and taking her dog Mario for rides around downtown on her scooter. She was often seen riding her scooter around downtown - to the East Race, the library and even McDonalds.

A Memorial service will be held Today, Saturday, June 4 from 2-3:30 p.m., with Remembrances from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th Street, Mishawaka.
