MERRITT ISLAND, FL - Bill J. Reed died at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Liberty Mills, IN, Wabash County, to Leo F. and Elsie A. Reed (deceased).
He graduated from Riley High School and Purdue University. He then moved to Merritt Island, Florida, and began his career at the Kennedy Space Center and retired after working there 40 years.
He married Joyce (Jacobs) at St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Survivors in the area include two sisters, Avonne Lee Knecht, North Manchester, IN, and Marcie Nunemaker, South Bend, IN.
