Frederick 81, of St Petersburg, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. He was born April 12, 1935 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Frank and Sophia (Churchich) Gonderman. Bob served in the US Army in Anchorage, AK from 1954 - 1956. He graduated in 1961 from Indiana University Law School. Bob raised his family in South Bend, IN and worked many years for the St. Joseph County Health Department as their lawyer. He also taught Computer Law for a year at Notre Dame. Bob was named Trial Lawyer of the year by the Indiana Trial Lawyer's Association. He and Nancy wintered in Florida for many years before moving to St. Petersburg in 2014. Bob loved to sail, play golf, and build in his woodworking shop. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Gonderman; a son, Robert Frank (Kelly) Gonderman; three daughters, Anna (Charlie Tiffany) Gonderman, Karen (Bob) Henry, and Laura (Tim) Martin; along with six grandchildren, Katie, Rachel, Dillon, Sean, Brenna, and Taylor; and a great-granddaughter, Isabelle along with his faithful companion, Buddy the cat. Memorial contributions may be offered to a hospice facility of your choice. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date with his cremated remains scattered at sea.
