Sherline M. “Sheri” (Hobson) Robinson, 77, of South Bend, IN, died at 8:20 p.m., on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Odyssey Hospice House in Palm Desert, CA..  She was born on March 20, 1935 in South Bend, IN to the late Joseph Hobson and Marie (Hudginski) Koski.   She has been a lifelong resident of South Bend.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in South Bend, and retired from Montgomery Wards, after over twenty years of service.

In South Bend, on June 26, 1954, she married Robert E. Robinson, who preceded her in death on August 15, 2004.  She is also preceded in death by her parents and a son, Kristopher Robinson, whose death occurred on April 12, 2009.

Sherline is survived by her daughter, Kim Robinson-Shepard of Palm Desert, CA, a son, Kelly Robinson of San Antonio, TX, four grandchildren, Tech Sergeant Cole Shepard, USAF, Okinawa, Lindsay Shepard, Leo Robinson, and Erin Robinson, three great-grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Sandra Spencer of Los Angeles, CA.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at Grace United Methodist Church, 3012 S. Twyckenham  Drive, South Bend officiated by Rev. David Schrader.  Inurnment will take place at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Arrangement were made by Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend.
