Carolyn Sue Soltesz

Feb. 7, 1939 – Oct. 30, 1968

Mrs. Carolyn Sue Soltesz, 29, of 1902 Swygart Ave., died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after a one-day illness. Authorities said death was due to natural causes.

She was born Feb. 7, 1939, at Winchester, Ind., and came to South Bend 27 years ago from Lebanon. On July 4, 1966, she married Edward F. Soltesz, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Dawnalou, at home, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Davis, and a sister, Miss Marcia Davis, of South Bend.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Garry W. Hesser, former pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Mrs. Soltesz was employed in the office of General Liquors, Inc.
