Peter Albert Hirsch

Feb. 5, 1938 – Sep. 17, 1982

Word has been received of the death of Peter A. Hirsch, 44, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of the Niles, Mishawaka and South Bend area, who died Friday at the Deer Valley Emergency Center, Phoenix, after an illness of four months.

He was employed with Honeywell as a software distribution manager. He was born on Feb. 5, 1938, in Krefeld, Germany, and lived here most of his life until 1978, when he moved to Phoenix.

On Aug. 3, 1968, in Niles, he married Carol Campbell. She survives with two sons, James and David, both at home; a brother, Eric L. of Kokomo, Ind.; and his mother, Mrs. Edith L. Hirsch of Mishawaka.

Services were held Monday in the Lundberg White Rose Chapel Mortuary in Phoenix. Cremation took place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

He became a citizen of the United States in 1945, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was a past director of West Side Little League in Phoenix.
