Mrs. Kathleen M. Oman, 32, of Carmel, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday in her residence after an extended illness.
Born March 30, 1939, in South Bend, she had lived here until six years ago, when she moved to Carmel. On Dec. 21, 1957, in South Bend, she was married to Martin Ray Oman, who survives, along with two daughters, Karen and Kimberly, both at home; her father, John H. Hock of South Bend, and three brothers, John F. Hock and James D. Hock, both of South Bend, and Donald Hock of Summit, Ill.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ruth Fenzau of Anderson, Ind., and Mrs. Connie Broaddus of Merritt Island, Fla.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Smith Funeral Home, Carmel, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ridgedale Presbyterian Church, where services will be at 2 p.m., Rev. Charles Franklin Bruce, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
