Lawrence Leonard Paege

Lawrence Leonard "Larry" Paege, 68, passed away in the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
He was born in South Bend, graduated from Riley High School and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. After an honorable discharge from the Army he was employed by Wards Corporate Office in Chicago. He also was co-owner of the Halsted Deli in Chicago until 1990 when he moved to Temple Terrace, Florida. He worked for Publix until he retired in 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Clara; and by two sisters, Mary Eichorst and LaVerne Fodor.
Larry is survived by a sister, Carolyn Spradlin; three brothers, Joseph and Harry of South Bend, and John of Osceola; and his beloved cat, Katie.
A memorial service celebrating Larry's life will be held on Saturday, August 26, at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew's United Church of Christ, 320 W. 4th Street, Mishawaka.
