Barry L. Rupel 66, Cicero, died Thursday, July 14, 2005. He was born November 3, 1938 in South Bend, IN. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He had owned and operated Rupel Typesetting Corp. in South Bend. He retired in 1994 from Whirlpool Corp., Graphic Arts Division in Benton Harbor, MI and transferred to EPI Printers, Indianapolis. He was a member of the St. Joseph County Young Republicans; St. Joseph County First District Chairman; precinct committeeman; he coached and served as officer at Chet Waggoner Little League and at Knute Rockne Babe Ruth; Printing House Craftsmen; all in South Bend. Visitation hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2005 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Central Indiana, 4701 N. Keystone Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46025 or to a charity of your choice. Surviving Barry are his wife, Cynthia "Jane" Rupel; son, John D. Rupel; daughters, Shari L. Kongable and CM Sgt. Pamela J. Lane; sisters, Bonnie M. Asbury and Barbara S. Kimmey; and five grandchildren.
