Nelson T. Clark
May 3, 1940 - June 15, 2021
Nelson T. Clark, 81, of Berne, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at his residence.
He was born on May 3, 1940 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Victor R. Clark and late Ruth I. (Snarr) Clark.
Nelson married Donna Ann Fosnaugh on January 20, 1968 at High Street United Methodist Church in Geneva.
He was a member of West Missionary Church in Berne and was an active member of Gideons International having served as secretary, president, and speaker.
Nelson was a graduate of Riley High School in 1958 and went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University in 1963. He retired in 2001 from CTS in Berne, Indiana with 42 years of service.
In his free time, Nelson enjoyed amateur radio.
He is survived by loving wife, Donna Ann Clark of Berne, Indiana; a son, David (Amanda Marie) Cameron Clark of Bluffton, Indiana; two grandchildren, Ava Graceann and Halley Ruthann Clark both of Bluffton, Indiana.
Nelson was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Lou Clark.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at West Missionary Church in Berne, Indiana with Pastor Keith Rupp officiating. Burial will take place at Williamsport Cemetery in Poe, Indiana.
Friends and family will be received from 12 p.m. Noon – 3 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2021, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that preferred memorials are to Gideons International and West Missionary Church.
