Dusty A. Pittman
Dusty A. Pittman, 36 years old, passed away at 3:29 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Dusty was born on August 1, 1981 in Plymouth, IN, and has been a lifelong resident. He was a lineman for American Electric Power and a graduate of Riley High School. On August 30, 2014 in Bremen, IN, Dusty and Nikki Koontz were united in marriage.
Along with his wife, Nikki, Dusty is survived by his four children, Branden Pittman, Bradey Pittman and Keirra Bremer and Hope Koontz; father, Mark A. (Mindy) Pittman of Lakeville; mother, Lorie Sprouse of Etna Green, IN; step-father, Duval Sprouse of Virginia; sister, Rebecca (Shane) Carter of Etna Green; brother, Shane Glad; and grandparents, Jane and Chet Bigler of Plymouth, and Lynn and Tom DeCocker of Vandalia, MI; nephews and niece, Gavin, Eliza, and Peyton. He is also survived by the mother of his sons, Natalie Pittman of Plymouth. One sister, Marybeth Sprouse; grandmother, Mary Morris; and grandfather, Gilbert Pittman preceded Dusty in death.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.
