Dorothy M. (Duker) Kreps

GOSHEN - Dorothy Margaret Kreps, 85, passed away at 11:40 a.m. Sunday, January 20, 2008, in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, IN. She was born to the late Edgar and Grace (Lehman) Duker on January 20, 1923, in Goshen. On January 19, 1947, in South Bend, she married Evan A. Kreps, who died on November 8, 2004.

Dorothy was a homemaker and was a 1941 graduate of Riley High School in South Bend.

She was a 50-year member of Eastern Star in South Bend. She was also a member of Crest Manor Church of the Brethren and a 4-H leader in South Bend for 15 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kreps of Goshen; and three grandchildren, Dottie Kreps and Sarah Kreps, both of Muncie, and Jason Kreps of Goshen.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Duker. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Yoder-Culp

Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen. Norman Bone, a family friend, will officiate. Memorials may be made to Chicago Shriners Hospital, 2211 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60707. Condolences may be sent to yoderculpfuneralhome.com.
