Howard C. Morse Jr.

MISHAWAKA - Howard C. Morse Jr., 91, of Mishawaka, passed away during the early evening hours of December 5th in his son's residence. Howard was born in South Bend on December 6, 1923, to the late Howard and Bethany (Geyer) Morse.
He was a graduate of Riley High School class of 1941.
Howard proudly served his country in the US Army during WW II and the US Navy during the Korean War. On August 25, 1973, he married Katherine Howard in South Bend. Howard enjoyed building model remote control boats and planes. His greatest joy was traveling around the world with his wife.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Katherine Morse of Mishawaka; a daughter, Sharon Dukeman of Lancaster, PA; and a son, Howard Morse III of South Bend; along with 2 stepchildren, Carrie VanDeal Baughman of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Jeff Misiano of South Bend. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Howard is also survived by a brother, Irvin Morse of Mishawaka.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 10th, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. A service celebrating Howard's life will be held at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Jon Ranous and Dr. LaVerne Blowers officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka.
