Roland S. Thompson

Roland S. Thompson 82, of Danville, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2005 in Avon. He was born December 26, 1922 in South Bend, IN. He was a graduate of both High School and Trade School. He was an Army Air Force Pilot during World War II. He later became a Foreman for General Motors, retiring in 1980. He was an avid golfer and a member of Pittsboro Golf Course.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Champion Thompson.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Chuck) Dallas.

Graveside services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, September 19, 2005 at South Bend Highland Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Baker Funeral Home, Danville.
