Alice "Judy" (Zillmer) Niblick

SOUTH BEND - Alice "Judy" Niblick, 90, of South Bend, died at 6:46 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24th, in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Niblick was born Oct. 19, 1922, in South Bend, to the late Lydia (Fisch) and Adolph Zillmer, and was a lifetime area resident.
On April 4, 1942, in South Bend, as Alice M. Zillmer, she married the love of her life, James C. Niblick, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Jone Marie Chastain and husband, John Pyzik of Carmel, IN; grandchildren, Rhett Harris (Tina) of South Bend and Tara Morris (Bill) of Fishers, IN; great-grandchildren, Emery and Bailey Harris, and Jake, Ryan and Will Morris; and brother, Robert Zillmer (Iva) of Dowagiac, MI.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Cleora Pavy and Etta Zillmer, and by a brother, Harry Zillmer.
Early in her life Judy modeled for the Frances Shop and other stores in the South Bend area. She was a longtime member of Evangel Heights United Methodist Church and a former member of Order of Eastern Star in South Bend.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29th, in Evangel Heights United Methodist Church, 114 N. Ironwood Drive, with Dr. Patrick Sommers officiating. Committal services and entombment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call in Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N.
